Lucy Wood from Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust is hosting another “Mapping Midlothian Memories” event at Loanhead Public Library on Monday 4th February 2019 [1.30-4.30pm].
The event will be similar to last one held on Monday 26th November 2018, with material to browse and maps to explore, however, this time the Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust has teamed up with the National Mining Museum Scotland and the focus will be more broadly exploring the history of mining across Midlothian.
A team from the museum will be on hand to talk about objects and mining, as well a connection to Mavisbank.
This is a drop-in event which is free to attend at Loanhead Public Library and all are welcome.
